HV02 - Overspeed Governor

HV02 is a unique solution of supervising the speed of the lifts. The supervision is performed by two separate units (microprocessors) that supervise the brake and the speed of the lift. In case of over speed or other errors, HV02 shuts down the lift to prevent dangerous situations. The lift is not allowed to make new starts, until a technician eliminates the error, and resets the overspeed governor.

Each unit has its own separate power supply. The shaft encoder feeds pulses to the microprocessor. The processor measures the time between these pulses and if the time between these pulses is to short then the output relay falls. The output relays are fallen when the lift is parked. The output relays are activated by an external signal when the lift starts.
